I didn’t really want this to be my first post. I wanted my first post to be a little more introducing. But due to the reaction of my friend and housemate, Dave, when he found, bought and opened the new Kimbra CD, I figured ‘why not?’. So I’m developing cabin fever in our new apartment. Our other three housemates were away. Dave was heading to the UPS office to send off a book. I invited myself along with an option to go get food. After that he said we have to go to Target because a twitter page promoted a CD he wanted and said it was being sold there. So we head off. Dave walked at a fast pace, my shortness only allows me to walk at a limited stride distance so I jogged to keep up with him. We enter the electronic section and under the New Release section were two copies of the new Kimbra CD, “Vows”. Dave’s face mirrored that of a child who was told he could have cake with candy for dinner, that or as if he had orgasmed right in the store. He also let out a small gasp of excitement. I couldn’t help but laugh. We headed over to the games because I wanted to see if I could buy a cheap game to kill time. After walking back, he switched the CD for the other one. I asked why and he responded, “cuz I’ve been spinning this one”. Again I laughed. After the purchase was made, Dave wasted no time tearing off the plastic wrap. He walks at a quick pace toward the car, again I’m jogging to keep up while starting this blog entry. I glance up to see where he is, and witness him smell the inside for that “new CD smell”. I laugh again. On the way to jack-in-the-box, I was holding the case to get the title in the previous paragraph. Dave pulls a hard right, causing the case to move out of my lap in between and under the seat, he gasps and lets out a “noo!”. I laugh again and retrieve the case unharmed. Now I’m getting my food and will end the blog here. I hope to use this account to the fullest so stay tuned people!
